Genius Funds Scam Report | The Aftermath
If you are looking for any signs of hope from Genius Funds from being scam, today, I officially, 99% confident Genius Funds is a ponzi and will never come back. It has been over 4 days when I first reported this tragic news, and now, I and many others are convincing ourselves this hyip program is done. I am so sorry to all the investors in this website, because even I lost money in this scam. Genius Funds definitely is what you call a professional scammer, because they have bought blockdos.net hosting, which is some expensive hosting, because of their great reputation of DDOS protection, and last but not least, the main reason why so many investors put in amounts in the thousands, and probably $100 000's ( the BC incident revealed a Canadian investor bank-wiring $25,000) was Verisign. Why? Because Verisign is one of the most trusted companies for SSL Security, much better than the hyip programs sprouting up with $50 Comodo SSL security. That's not to say Comodo sucks, but the main reason is because it is cheap and not as safe and secure as Versign.
The other reason why this is such a professional scam is because Genius Funds had so many features that made them look like a legitimate program. Again, if you did invest over $500 into Genius Funds, they provided you with a pdf file, claiming that is your certificate should the site have any problems , and also a security for your deposit. I am not here to believe this was fake, and ultimately, these images of our shares is worth nothing, when the dust settles in the program. Also, when asked for the documents, they were really cunning. They in fact did have a license in Cyprus, but it was not for trading! They were never given any licenses to trade, or handle investors money. The only license was for the name Genius Investments Ltd! Genius Funds scamming members was outrageous, and also due to a fact in the aftermath right now.
Genius Funds Aftermath
Now, we are beginning to see members are starting to realize that Genius Funds is a scam, and as I see on Moneymakergroup.com , they are starting to ask for refunds from Alertpay.
Thank you for contacting AlertPay's Resolutions department.
Due to a number of complaints we have received in reference to this merchant our administration is currently looking into this. We will notify you once the matter has been resolved. Please allow 15-30 business days for this dispute to be resolved by our administration.
We thank you in advance for your patience.
As you see it is not just one person that is disputing, it is a lot of people. Again, the other problem is that since this program has run for only 1 and a half years, the majority of investors are already pass the 30 day refund policy by Alertpay.
It is also to note that their customer support is horrible, and in fact may be outsourced call operators from india, because their messages are automated, and also either copied and pasted or they do not understand our inquiries. Let me give you an example.
Customer Assistance:
Hi , Welcome to Genius Funds. My name is Sophia. How may I assist you today ?
Customer Assistance:
Genius funds are facing some severe technical problems that is the reason the maintenance is still in progress.
Customer Assistance:
Please do not worry this problem will be solved very soon most probably by today or tomorrow.
Customer Assistance:
Please be rest assured your investment is safe, as we will be online there is no reason to worry you will receive your dividends and initial investment. As you see, their chat operators used macros to automatically post these messages, and don't really want to or know your questions.
Now, what is so strange about Geniusfunds being a scam is usually, the last time there was a DDOS attack, the admin, George Schale, would update us in an email. For 4 days, there is nothing. Also, I since I know the basics about domains and hosting, I know for sure they are lying that it would take over 4 days for them to move servers or whatever excuse you got in customer service.
As I said in my earlier post of Genius Funds is not allowed to trade in Cyprus, I can conclude again, that Genius Funds is a scam and I hope all of you out there who have lost money to file a dispute if you can. I really don't think there is any way they can come back online with all this negative publicity, and again, please invest what you can afford to lose.
Lessons to learn From Genius Funds.
If you haven't learnt any, then I am sure I will make you learn wonders in the few minutes. This program has taught me at least that sometimes even the most professional site can go scam, and that almost no program can promise so much, yet be legitimate. Time will tell if my theory is wrong, but nonetheless I am sure some of you have learned how to ride a ponzi. This site Riding The Ponzi couldn't have explained it better. They have helped me and will definitely help you on finding the best programs and make you money guaranteed if you follow their instructions.
